I FEEL THIS WAY ABOUT YOU

In 2008 I spent a considerable amount of time in hospital. I was extremely ill and nearly died. God gave me a promise that he would keep me in health and here I am today to testify to his faithfulness. In the hospital ward these words were going around in my head, I wrote them as a song to try and explain how I felt about the Lord. This song is my heart and the lyrics can make me cry. God is beautiful and I love him.

I BOW

While it's still called today, scripture says "seek the Lord". God is our ever present help and I want to know Him in the moment. I love the notion conveyed by the lyrics, which says "to know you in the here and now, Lord I bow". This is one of my favourite songs. It is sweeping and majestic and I have never been able to do it justice. I hear it in my head with lots of voices rising in crescendo and beautiful strings in the background. So all you aspiring record producers out there, record this song and help it become what it's meant to be - an anthem of joy to the goodness of God.
